Higher in iron and copper which has been shown to instantly soften skin.  Red Brazilian clay is shown to increase elasticity and firmness while repairing effects of the natural aging process.  Recommended for all skin types.

Black Brazilian Clay: Rejuvenate

Also called Volcanic Mud and Black Clay, this clay contains higher levels of silicon, and titanium and has oxygenating properties which rejuvenate and promote cell renewal.  Recommended for all skin types.

White Kaolin Clay: Gentle

A pure white clay that provides gentle exfoliation and helps to reduce inflammation on irritated skin.  Applies smoothly and leaves skin feeling soothed.  Recommended for sensitive skin types.

French Green Clay: Complexion

Mined from naturally occurring deposits in France.  Chock full of iron oxides and decomposed organic plant matter which give the characteristic pale-green color.  Absorbs oil well.  Recommended for blemish-prone skin types.

Russian Valdai Blue Clay: Brighten

A silver-rich clay from the Valdai area of Russia.  Not quite as old as Cambrian Blie clay but no less effective.  A powerhouse clay used widely in the health and spa industry.  Said to help brighten the skin while improving elasticity and tone.  PRO TIP: add a little lemon juice to your paste to enhance the brightening effects.  May feel a bit gritty.  Recommended for all skin types.

Bentonite Clay

A very dense, porous clay that can absorb 300% to 700% of its weight in water!  Rich in calcium, magnesium, silica, sodium, copper, iron, and potassium.  Used to pull dirt and impurities from deep within the skin--may dry skin.  Has a higher pH than other clays.  A little goes a very long way.  Recommended for oily skin types.

Turmeric Powder

This root powder has shown time and time again to be effective in reducing the appearance of dark marks and areas of hyperpigmentation.  Prone to staining but can be used on its own or as an additive with other clays.  Recommended for hyperpigmentation, dark mark fading, and evening complexion.

Pumice Powder

Finely ground volcanic rock for a bit more scrubbing powder.  Work a small amount into your mask paste and scrub gently.  Comes in a heat-sealed bag only.  Recommended as an additive, not for use on its own.

To Use:

Cleanse face.  Mix desired amount of clay into a small bowl.  Add up to three tablespoons of warm/hot water until a paste consistency.  Apply to the face avoiding the eyes and hairline.  Allow to dry then wash off.  Follow-up with a few spritzes of our 2-in-1 Cucumber Toner + Moisturizer to soothe, then apply Face Oil or Serum.

NOTE: Mask may be used for several applications.  Discard any hydrated, unused mask.  Avoid mixing with metal utensils--glass, silicone, and plastic are best!
